Catching Up!

We have been busy this summer! Lets do this chronologically-Top Ten 10 style. ~Mae

10. Ethan and Rylan took swimming lessons and learned how to swim!

9. Rylan turned 5 on June 28th! We had a “P” party-Pirates, Pizza, Pinata, & Presents. The kids went on a scavenger hunt and found the treasure. A pirate pinata hidden in the dryer. They they beat him with a stick and he gave up the booty!

8. The kids and I traveled back to Utah to visit family and I went to my 10 year highschool reunion. We had fun playing with Julia and Akaila and seeing everyone. We missed having Dad with us, though.

7. We celebrated our 9 year anniversary. Nate got me a stereo that I can put my ipod in and play music out loud. I love it!

6. Ethan turned 7 years old! We had a dinosaur party complete with dinosaur hunt, fascinating dinosaur factoids, dinosaur chicken nuggets and green cupcakes and lemonade. We also painted dinosaur shirts for everyone to take home. It was a lot of fun!!

5. We went to the beach for the first time as a family. We had a great time there! The boys played in the waves with a boogie board and I stayed with Raevyn and Asher in the sand. We were covered in sand and so was the car…But it was so worth it!

4. Nate took the boys to the San Diego Zoo. They met up with Uncle Reggie and Aunt Michelle and had a great time!

3. Ethan started 2nd grade! He is loving his teacher and loves the new science things he is learning about.

2. Rylan started kindergarten!!! He is having so much fun! He brings home fun projects everyday and is quite proud of his work. So are we!

1. We took the kids bowling for the first time on Saturday. Asher was so mad he couldn’t carry any of the gazillions of bowling balls all around him. I imagine that is what h*ll is like…
